We can relate to empty pockets And driving on fumes But their lack of motivation kills me While they rot in their rooms Is it weird I can't be happy? Even when life seems ok When I've got everything you'd want But still something to say About my perfect little set up. Good job, girlfriend, and a car. But all I ever thought I needed Were these friends and my guitar We can relate to empty pockets And driving on fumes But their lack of motivation kills me While they rot in their rooms And I can scream untill my face turns blue, but what's the use? There's a lot of deadbeat kids from highschool still stuck in TR They're delivering pizzas in their mom and dad's cars We can relate to empty pockets And driving on fumes But their lack of motivation kills me While they rot in their rooms And I can scream untill my face turns blue, but what's the use? I'd trade it all in for minimum wage If it meant a ticket out Of this shitty place I'd show this whole damn town I did it my way, with my best friends I swear to god we'll be the last ones standing when this whole town falls apart. Cause we've got so much left to prove. And we've got nothing left to lose.

Can't anyone see what's happened here? Or are they too comfortable to care? How everyone has lost their minds. And I don't think they'll make it out alive. They're stuck between a town they don't need, and everyone that's bringing them down I'm twenty three and I still don't know me. How can you go wrong with honesty? Tell me honestly? I'm letting go of all I've known. Ill leave it all behind me. These words they hit home. Harder than you know They're stuck between a town they don't need, and everyone that's bringing them down I'm twenty three and I still don't know me.

Birthday 03:40
Another birthday past me But this one was something different Not because of the number But how it made me feel To realize I'm getting older And its completely real Whoa whoaa You should know The days they come, the days they go Our lives will change But I hope they won't Cause I like it right where I am I've contemplated giving up and growing up But they just seem the same to me I guess I just don't get it I guess that there's no point to see Whoa whoaa You should know The days they come, the days they go Our lives will change But I hope they won't Cause I like it right where I am So pick up everything and go Whoaaaaoooh Were only young once, Savor every moment of it We're young only once

This town is falling apart at the seams and I'm not sure which way is up, or in between And ya know these kids, they don't mean shit to me. Traffic signs they change, And the times they rearrange The sky gets dark And its so bad that I can't tell which way that were falling apart Don't say that everything you hoped for will be gone tomorrow Cause I know, the best is yet to come And if you think I'm wrong, you'll be sorry when I'm gone This will be my farewell song There's a place we used to go over that familiar bridge. To forget about the things that filled up all our troubled heads But if you take a look around at all of our old friends Its sad to say, but I'm afraid that there maybe no hope for them Don't say that everything you hoped for will be gone tomorrow Cause I know, the best is yet to come And if you think I'm wrong, you'll be sorry when I'm gone This will be my farewell song I hope they make it out alive... I hope they make it out alive... I hope they make it out alive... I hope they make it out alive... Don't say that everything you hoped for will be gone tomorrow Cause I know, the best is yet to come And if you think I'm wrong, you'll be sorry when I'm gone This will be my farewell song

Rooftops 04:45
I've sat on philidelphia rooftops with my brother and his friends while they talked about their dreams of grandeur Its not my favorite city but at least he's the hell out of here. That's more than I can say for some That's more than I can say... But wait come quick. I think I'm losing it now. There's so much to talk about. So wait come quick. When winter comes we pass the time with guitars and a couple of pabsts. Waiting for summer to come, only to wish that it would pass. Its not my favorite city but at least he got the hell out of here. That's more than I can say for some That's more than I can say... But wait come quick. I think I'm losing it now. There's so much to talk about. So wait come quick. So let's talk about it Everything you wanted to hear We've got a lot to say This time around
